Udaipur Police reach Bihar in search of Conmen

Udaipur police reached Bihar’s Hajari Bagh in search of the suspects who allegedly conned the Deputy Director of Agriculture Department and made him deposit Rs.2 Lac in the name of a senior IAS officer.

 

Udaipur police reached Bihar’s Hajari Bagh in search of the suspects who allegedly conned the Deputy Director of Agriculture Department and made him deposit Rs.2 Lac in the name of a senior IAS officer.

Investigating Officer Nirbhay Singh and his team went to Bihar after receiving clues about the account holder in whose bank account the amount was deposited by the victim Ramesh Jaroli. Police reached the house of Santosh Vishwakarma. However Santosh was not found but his relatives helped police in arranging telephonic conversation with him.

During the talk, Santosh told police that an amount of Rs.2 Lac was credited in his account by mistake which he transferred in the same account.

The police team also went Patliputra from where Ramesh Jaroli received the call. As per the details of the SIM card, police reached the house of a person identified as Govind.

Govind informed police that a couple was staying in his house but they left few days back. Since then, many people from different places started coming to his house asking about the couple. Govind alleged that he himself got cheated by the couple.

I.O Nirbhay Singh said, “No arrests have been made yet but police is closely observing movements of the suspected people and will soon catch the accused.”
