A cleaning staff of Udaipur Municipal Corporation has lodged an FIR at Surajpol Police station on Friday for being assaulted by a man upon asking him to steer away from the garbage lorry. The accused attacked the victim with an iron tool resulting in head injuries.

One of the cleaning staff of UMC Prakash Harijan, Mullatalai was targeted by an accused identified as Hansmukh Mochi near RMV School while he was cleaning the roads as a regular routine. Prakash and Mochi got into an argument that turned violent after Mochi hit the victim with an iron rod and fled from the scene.

The victim immediately informed his superior about the incidence after which a team of UMC employees rushed to the scene and called the police was verification of the matter.
