Undercover police arrests 2, seizes Illegal Weapons
2 country-made pistol and a revolver was retrieved by Pratap Nagar police from 2 accused in two different areas where they were about to supply them to their customers for Rs. 85,000. Both were arrested and booked under sections of Arms Act.

Sohan Singh (27) and Arjun Singh (21) were arrested on Monday by the cops of the Special Task Force including Umed Singh, Vikram Singh and Khuman Singh who upon a tip off went undercover and kept a keen eye on both the accused while they set to make the sale, Additional SP city Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj informed. After days of effort, the police nabbed the accused and seized the illegal weapons.
Deputy SP Madhuri Verma informed that in the initial interrogation, the accused revealed that they are the members of Karan Singh’s gang, also the history sheeter of Dabok Police Station. Besides, revealing the source of their supply, they added that they had stolen a truck of marble from a godown situated in Rajsamand district and also accepted committing highway loot at Udaipur-Chittor highway.
Under the drive launched by SP Ajaypal Lamba, the police are in an attempt to reveal the nexus of illegal weapons and their suppliers; the drive being handled by SHO Pratap Nagar police station Chandra Purohit and his team.
