The newly born baby girl that was stolen from the Pannadhay wing of MB Hospital on Sunday was found at the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, situated near the office of UIT. Later the girl was shifted to the intensive care unit of the wing and her parents were informed about her well being.

SHO Hathipol police Rajesh Sharma said that on Sunday morning at 5 AM, few passersby informed the police about the little girl lying in the premises of the temple. Upon getting the information, the cops’ team rushed to the scene where the girl was found with documents and an apology letter which wrote, ‘Please give this child to RNT Nursery. Sorry.’

Later the relatives of the girl were called for verification and she was handed over to them. It seemed that the accused was well educated and a modern woman.

Police also found few CCTV footage from the camera installed at Pannadhay wing in which a middle aged woman was suspected to be the accused. On the basis of the footage, the police are searching for the accused woman, said SHO.
