A Petrol pump loot was foiled last night when the employees of the pump successfully resisted suspected armed robbers who tried looting the pump.

During the altercation however, the robbers opened fire on the pump employees Arvind Singh and Shiv Singh. The incident took place at Pradeep Petrol Pump situated on N.H 8 (Village Kaya)

All senior police officials rushed to the scene and verified the situation. The victims are undergoing treatment at a private hospital of Udaipur.

According to sources, 4 suspected robbers tried to loot the pump last night but the pump employees Arvind Singh and Shiv Singh retaliated and tried to catch the suspects. During the brawl, the suspects opened fire on them and fled away.

Police has started searching the accused as per the details obtained from the victims.

Seeing the frequent robberies on petrol pumps, Udaipur police has recently conducted a meeting with all the pump owners and suggested extra precautions.
