Showing literally no-fear towards Law or even God, a Silver Mukut of Lord Hanuman was stolen early in the morning today, from Balaji Hanuman Temple, opposite Fatah School.
According to temple’s priest Kailash – As per his usual routine of Shringar after he reached the temple at 5am, Lord Hanuman’s idol was adorned with ornaments including the Mukut. Whilst his daily chores, the priest noticed at 7.30 AM, that the Mukut was missing from the idol.
The information of the theft was given to Surajpol Police Chowki.

This is the second of its kind incident in the temple as two months back; another Mukut was stolen, which is yet to be found by Police.
The main in-charge Pandit Suresh Giri has been out of town for past two days, and Pandit Kailash was handling the daily routines and responsibilities of the temple.
According to sources, CCTV cameras installed in the temple premises might give clue regarding the theft, however the fact is yet to be discovered.
