More than half a dozen water meters have been stolen from houses located at Meera Nagar area, Bhuvana today morning. A complaint has been lodged at Sukher Police Station by the residents.

A battery and music system were also found missing from a truck parked in the same area.

Seema Tyagi, one of the victims staying at House no. 132 of Meera Nagar told UT that she had discovered the water meters missing early this morning.

Mohan Lal Nayak, 42, a Cement supplier and resident of the same area said, “last night my truck was parked outside my house. Today, when I checked my vehicle the battery and the stereo systems were missing.’

All the people living in the locality went to the Sukher Police station and lodged a complaint about the series of thefts in the area.
