A woman was allegedly abused by group of youth over a petty issue that occurred today afternoon at Ashwini Bazar. The victim, Chanda Kumawat, 42, alleged that she was verbally abused and even slapped by one of the boys.

The suspected youth who are supposedly in the profession of courier delivery, fled away from the scene. Chanda Kumawat lodged police complaint against the suspects.

According to sources, Chanda Kumawat and her aged mother were shopping in Ashwini Bazar when feet of one of the accused accidentally hit Chanda’s mother while sitting on motorcycle. Due to the impact Chanda’s mother fell down on the ground.

Resultantly, a quarrel ensued between both the parties. Chanda complained that the boys who were around seven to eight in numbers allegedly abused her and slapped her before fleeing from the scene.

In the rush, one of the accused forgot a bundle which indicated that he might be working as a courier delivery boy.

Chanda Kumawat has lodged an FIR at Dhanmandi Police Station.
