A woman became victim of con by two suspects who lured her to take the demonstration of polishing her jewelries. The accused first asked her to purchase the chemical and later fled away with number of ornaments.

The incident took place at Jawahar Nagar today when two men came to the victim Bhavna’s house introducing themselves as salesmen.

Surajpol Police started searching the accused although no formal complaint is lodged by the victim.

The victim told police that, both men asked her to remove all the jewelries she was wearing so that they can show her how effective is their polishing product. Bhavna agreed and handed over her jewelries to the suspects.

Meanwhile she went inside the house for some work and when she returned, both men had disappeared with the ornaments which included a gold chain and a pair of earrings.

Bharti Gorani, Former president of Mahila Morcha who resides nearby informed that both men first came to her house, but her daughter in law refused their offer.

Police informed that, a number of similar type of incidence takes place in the same area but still people become victim of such conmen.
