A woman was caught stealing more than a dozen gold ornaments from a jewelry shop today. The accused woman was arrested by Surajpol Police Station and later sent to judicial custody.

The incident took place at T Jewelers owned by Prashant Kothari. As per police, the accused woman came to the shop and asked for some jewelry. While Prashant was busy, the accused somehow managed to steal 14 gold nose pins and hide it inside her clothes.

Kothari felt suspicious when the woman suddenly tried to leave from the shop. He caught her and informed police.

The woman, resident of Sector-4 Hiranmagri was taken to police station and was thoroughly searched. 14 nose pins weighing 3.33 grams were found from her possession.
