City police on Friday arrested a woman and 1 of her associate for allegedly abetting her husband to commit suicide.

Accused woman, resident of Sarvaritu Vilas area and her associate Gajendra Singh alias Bhuri were arrested by the police after getting the complaint against them by victim’s brother for abetting the husband to commit suicide, Surajpol police said.

The victim Nilesh, a Government employee by profession had committed suicide at his residence at Sarvaritu Vilas on 16^thJuly. After the mishap his relatives had a doubt over his wife and her aid Gajendra for instigating him to commit suicide.

The police investigation was going on since the day of the incidence and the accused were finally nabbed by the cops on Friday. The accused have been booked under the charges and further interrogation is going on, police said.
