Nursing students of Ravindra Nath Tagore Medical college of Udaipur handed over a Memorandum to the State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria after their failure to meet him in person and discuss their problems.

The students were in distress and most of them started crying when the Minister refused to discuss their problems in detail at the UMC office during his visit. The students alleged that when they went to the Udaipur Municipal Corporation’s office to meet Kataria to talk to him regarding their demands, they did not get a proper response.

The Nursing students had organized a rally and reached UMC compound to meet the Home Minister where he was busy with the inaugural program of the city bus services. Seeing the rally heading toward UMC quick action was taken & they were made to wait out in the compound.

The agitated students however managed to meet Kataria and tried to put their problems in front of him. The Minister then asked them to hand over a Memorandum and assured action.
