CBSE: March 5 & 6 Board Exams Postponed for Middle East
CBSE postpones Class 10 and 12 Board exams scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2026, in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE; revised dates to be announced soon
March 3, 2026 - The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced postponement of the Class 10 and Class 12 Board examinations scheduled for March 5 and 6, 2026, in some Middle East countries. The decision was taken after a review of the current ongoing conflict in the region.
The exams will now be held on revised dates, which are to be announced by CBSE later after it reviews the situation again on March 5 and take an appropriate decision regarding examinations scheduled from March 7 onwards.
An official communication to this effect was made by the Board to principals of CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Students have been told to follow official updates from their respective schools.
