Counseling for candidates who cleared the Level 1 Teacher’s Examination, held on 2nd June, for the post of 3rd grade teachers in government schools was held at the Zila Parishad Auditorium today.

Over 2000 candidates were present at the Collectorate to check if they were eligible for counseling and also to submit their verification documents.

Many candidates were not happy with the preparations and complained about the unorganized scenario of the counseling sessions. On the other hand, the administration reported that the counseling management was a success and the sessions were held very smoothly.

The major problem faced by the candidates was the erratic announcement pattern during the sessions. Many also complained about the Cut-Out list which lists equal number of male and female candidates.

“All the washrooms were also locked in the Collectorate during the counseling today”, complained one of the candidates.

Abrar Ahmed, Chief Officer, Zila Parishad on the complaints of equal number of male and female candidates in the Cut-Out lists said, “The list has been issued on the basis of our standard counseling procedures and we are working according to the orders given to us by the higher authorities.” Ahmed also said that we regard everyone (Gender-wise) as equal.

This year students across all categories (general & reserved) were invited for counseling at the same time.
