CSR Support for Infra in Rajasthan Govt Schools

UdaipurTimes, Oct 7, 2026 - A meeting was held on Tuesday, October 5, at the Government Secretariat under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), School Education Department, Rajesh Yadav, with CSR representatives of Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) and Honda Motors Limited. The meeting held detailed discussions on the development of basic infrastructure facilities in government schools and the provision of sustained support through CSR initiatives, as per a government press release.

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding infrastructure-based development works to be undertaken by Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) in approximately 35 government schools within its area of operation. CFCL also presented a progress report on the development works already being carried out in 57 government schools.

Similarly, discussions were held with Honda Motors Limited regarding infrastructure development works in 12 government schools in Khairthal-Tijara district.

The meeting also deliberated on the possibility of continued support from both companies not only for infrastructure development in government schools but also towards recurring expenditure.

ACS Yadav highlighted the important role of CSR in strengthening essential infrastructure facilities in government schools and emphasized the need for continuous coordination with companies to ensure support in accordance with the requirements of individual schools.
