Early Bell for Schools Amid Heat Threat
Timings for all schools in Udaipur will be from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, effective May 1 until the end of this academic session

Udaipur, May 1, 2025 - In view of the intense heat wave expected in the coming days, Udaipur District Collector has directed that timings for all schools, government and private, in Udaipur district will be from 7:30 am to 11:30 am, effective today, May 1, until the end of the academic session. This applies to students of all grades, from Pre-Primary to Grade 12.
Chief District Education Officer Mahendra Jain said that annual and other exams will continue as per the pre-scheduled timetable and staff timings will remain according to the Shivira Panchang calendar.
All government and private schools have been instructed to strictly comply with this order. And as per the administration, if any head of institution is found to violate it then action will be taken under various provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
