On the occasion of the National Technology Day today on May 11, an Exhibition cum Seminar was organized under a joint association of the MPUAT and Vigyan Samiti in their Auditorium at Ashok Nagar.

At the Exhibition, a large number of fertilizer equipment has been put up on display for the farmers by MPUAT officials and students.

The speakers at the Seminar included prominent personalities in the field of Science and Technology, namely Professor Venkat Krishnan, Director, Solar Observatory, Udaipur; Dr. A.K Sacheti, Project Advisor, Rajasthan Mission of Skills and Livelihood; etc.

B.F Bafna, Industrialist and Social worker was also present at the event, along with H.V Paliwal, President of Vigyan Samiti and Dr. O.P Gill, Vice Chancellor, MPUAT.

Several environment friendly tools and equipment like solar cooker, biogas equipment, bicycle thrasher, solar lamp etc. were also put on display at the exhibition.

I.A.S, Mirza Azhar Baig was honored for his achievement in the IAS exams.

While C.P Talesra, Industrialist was commended for his innovations and experiments, N.S. Rathore, Dean Engineering College was commended for his contributions to Solar Technology.
