JEE Main 2025: Dress Code Guidelines Released for Candidates

Udaipur, January 15, 2025 - As the JEE Main 2025 exam approaches, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued important dress code guidelines for all candidates. These rules will help ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

Male Candidates Should Avoid Wearing

  • Metallic items in their clothing.

  • Head coverings like caps or mufflers.

  • Thick-soled shoes.

  • Jewelry and accessories, including rings and bracelets.

  • Candidates are advised to wear lightweight and comfortable clothing.

Female Candidates Must Not Wear

  • Stoles, dupattas, or scarves.

  • Jewelry or metallic items.

  • Accessories like goggles, rings, and bracelets.

Like male candidates, female candidates are encouraged to wear light and comfortable clothing.

Important Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must arrive at the exam venue at least one hour before the exam. It is also essential to bring:

  • Admit card.

  • Passport-size photo.

  • Valid photo ID.

These items are mandatory for entry into the exam hall. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Prohibited Items

  • Mobile phones or any electronic devices.

  • Other prohibited items.
