Madrasa Need Reformation: Rais Mohammad Khan
More than 30 Madrasa teachers of Udaipur district have pointed towards various issues been faced by them during their job tenure including remuneration, infrastructure and lack of staff. The meeting was organized by the Board of Madrasa, Udaipur at the office of Zila Parishad.

“There are 32 Madrasa operational in the district. We are looking for mass improvement from academic curriculum to the infrastructure of the madrasa,” said Rafiq Ahmed Khan, District Minority Development Officer who led today’s meeting along with Rais Mohammad Khan, Program Officer and Ishaq Hussain Pinara, Former D.M.O.
The teachers from different parts of Udaipur district shared their problems; especially about the salaries pending from 2- 3 months. They also pointed out the requirement of additional staff in madrasa.
Rafeeq Ahmed Khan, D.M.O listened to the problems of the teachers and assured to discuss their problems with the Chief Minster.
Although Rais Mohammad Khan chose not to comment in front of media but he talked about the basic problems and said, “I can comment only after our meeting scheduled in May 7 at Jaipur.”
“We want that Rajasthan government should introduce Mid Day Meal scheme to Madrasa like they are giving in government schools. We want computer training for our students and give them knowledge of every subject in the same way like other schools,” said Rais Mohammad.
