June 7, 2025 - The NEET-PG 2025 examination will now be conducted on August 3. The Supreme Court on June 6, yesterday approved the schedule proposed by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The exam will be held in a single shift from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on that day.

Earlier, a Bench comprising Justice Prashant Mishra and Justice Augustine George Masih made it clear that no further time would be granted to the NBE for conducting the exam.

The NBE had earlier filed a petition in Supreme Court asking for exam postponement because conducting the exam in a single shift would require 1,000 test centres across the countr. The exam was scheduled for June 15. This was following a Court order dated May 30 to hold the NEET-PG 2025 exam in one shift instead of two. NBE had asked for more time to make arrangements and move the exam to August 3.
