Private School Directors’ & Management Association held a meeting with District Collector Ashutosh Pednekar today and requested him not to announce additional holidays after the official winter break.

The concerned members of the association said that every year collector declares additional holidays due to winter after the official winter break which is of 10-12 days. These additional holidays disturb school syllabus and increase pressure on the students.

The memorandum was given by Satya Prakash Mundra, Vice President and Dilip Singh Yadav, spokesperson of the association.

Collector Ashutosh Pednekar has taken the request positively and assured the organization for not announcing any additional holidays. However collector stated that the school timings will be change due to cold weather.
