The students of Pragya Chakshu Senior Secondary School, Ambamata (Government School for Blind) protested outside Education Department Office, Madhuban against one of the teachers for allegedly misbehaving and abusing students.

Over two dozen visually impaired students demanded to remove the teacher immediately. The students claimed that they informed school administration about the teacher’s misconduct several times but no action was taken. Students received support of Chatra Sangarsh Samiti (CSS) and a memorandum was presented before Deputy Director of Senior Secondary School.

A student of class 12th informed, “The accused teacher joined as a senior teacher of science in 2013, she was good initially but within few months, she started behaving rude with students. Later the students started boycotting her class and demanded to appoint new teacher on her place.”

Naresh Chandra Dangi, Assistant Director of Secondary Education, Udaipur, “The memorandum by students was received and it will be handed over to Bharat Mehta, Deputy Director of Secondary Education and appropriate decision will be taken soon.”
