Scholarly Discourse on Venus Transit Concludes
The three day National Orientation Workshop on Transit of Venus ended today at Amantra Hotel, Udaipur.
Dr. Arvind Paranjape explained the method of making a telescope and with its help we can see celestial objects and can also observe the transit of Venus. Paranjape addressed the third and last day of the workshop and discuss about the Venus transit in detail which was attended by many students and notable scientists.

Thereafter, astronomers Deepak Gupta and Deepak Tatpuje provided the information on how to observe Venus transit with the help of digital camera.
Professor I.V Trivedi, Vice-chancellor of MLSU presented the Certificates to all the Participants. He also saw the Sun Spot on Sun with the help of a telescope.
Dr. Lokesh Bharti, gave a lecture on the Sun and he also gave the information about the internal structure of the Sun, Magnetic field, Formation of Solar flare and different activities on the sun.
Then there was a lecture by Devender Pareek on the celestial events, solar eclipse that occurred on 4th Feb 2012. He informed about variation of cosmic ray, flux and energy during eclipse and explained the possible reason of the magnetic field.
At the end, there was a Panel discussion held by Prof. S.N.A Jafri, Amitabh Pandey, Dr. G.S Rathore and Dr. Sachin. They shared the information about such events and also differentiated between those activities.
