Shooting to Begin Soon for Farhan Akhtar’s 'Jee Le Zara'

Udaipur, Dec 03, 2025: In August 2021, Farhan Akhtar announced a female-led road trip film, `Jee Le Zaraa`, starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif. Fans were excited, but many reports said the film was delayed because of scheduling issues. Some even said the project had been dropped.

Now, there is good news for fans. Farhan Akhtar has given a major update. He confirmed that `Jee Le Zaraa` is still happening. He said the delay was due to date issues and the casting of the male leads. But now, everything has finally come together.

Why Jee Le Zaraa Was Delayed

According to media reports, the film `Jee Le Zaraa`, starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, is finally back on track. Coordinating dates for the three actresses was very difficult, and Priyanka Chopra’s global work was the biggest issue. She has now agreed to make time for the film.

The dates were not the only problem. Farhan Akhtar, along with writers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, also struggled to find the right male co-stars. They wanted three A-list actors to match the star power of Katrina, Priyanka, and Alia. This also caused a long delay. Farhan has now confirmed that the film will begin production soon.

A lot changed in the actresses’ personal lives in the last few years. Katrina Kaif became a mother in November this year. Alia Bhatt’s daughter was born in 2022. Priyanka Chopra is also the mother of Malti Mary, born in 2022. Reports say that all personal matters are now settled, and the film is finally moving ahead.

Farhan Akhtar confirmed again that they will start filming soon. He said, “It was very hard to get the actors’ dates. But now everything is sorted. We will start soon.”

`Jee Le Zaraa` is said to be a road-trip film, similar to the hit film `Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara`, which starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, and Farhan Akhtar.
