February 18, 2026: Late on Tuesday night, superstar Salman Khan was seen leaving Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where his 90-year-old father, renowned screenwriter Salim Khan, is admitted to the ICU. He was reportedly admitted to the hospital due to swelling and was moved to the ICU at 8:30 am. Although Salman appeared calm in front of the media outside the hospital, worry was visible on his face. In a video, he was seen sitting in a car with his eyes closed and praying, which made fans emotional.

Doctor Dr. Jalil Parkar said that Salim Khan was brought to the emergency by his family doctor, Dr. Sandeep Chopra. After initial treatment, he was shifted to the ICU first floor. A team of doctors, including neurologist Dr. Vinay Chavan, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dang, and Dr. Vineet Ahluwalia, are taking care of him. His condition is stable for now, but doctors are keeping him under close observation.

Sources said that Salman Khan was shooting at Mod Island when he got news of his father’s illness. He immediately stopped work and went to the hospital.
