With the declaration of Chandra Singh Kothari as the new mayor and Lokesh Dwivedi as the deputy mayor of Udaipur city, the 49 parshads of BJP took out a victory rally to thank the citizens.

The rally commenced at 11 am and traveled from Town Hall via Surajpol, Bapu Bazar, Mukherjee Chowk, Bada Bazar, Hathipol, Boharwadi, Maldas street, Delhi Gate, Bapu Bazar and back to Town Hall.

The main spokesman was Gulab Chand Kataria, Home Minister, Rajasthan Government. All the winning 49 parshads with their co-workers participated in the rally. Athough, throughout the rally, a commotion among the common pedestrians and traffic jam was witnessed in the busy areas of the city.
