On 19^th December, Saturday prior to Christmas Day week, a peace rally was organized by Seva Dharma Maitri Sansthan to spread the message of peace and brotherhood.

A number of tableaus were decorated that marched in the rally. A huge number of people from different communities along with school students were part of the peace rally.

Father Remson Victor, in charge of Shepherd Memorial Church informed that the rally began at 3 PM from the Maitri Sadan at Patel Circle and traversed through different parts of the city including Surajpol, Udiapol, Bapu Bazar, Ashwini Bazar and Hathipol and concluded at Roman Catholic Church at Chetak Circle.

Adding on to the celebration, all the churches of the city including Shepherd Memorial Church, Roman Catholic Church and other Churches were all beautifully decorated imbibing the celebration zeal.
