‘Jeene Do’ a song conceptualized, sung and composed by Udaipur’s band Rooh was launched today at Youtube officially in the presence of the Collector.

‘Jeene Do’ a song conceptualized, sung and composed by Udaipur’s band Rooh was launched today at Youtube officially in the presence of the Collector.

The song ‘Jeene Do’ was inaugurated by Ashutosh Pednekar which described the plight of child labor in the country and how they have every right to live free and attain education.

The collectorate watched the video and praised the efforts of the band. He said that all the NGOs that work for child labor should see this video as it will guide them to work in full force for the initiative. The video should be shared among people and create awareness about the social injustice done among the kids.

The launch was organized at Hotel Royal Inn at 100 ft road. Harsh Paliwal, Ashok Gandharva and Priyansh Paliwal are the band members. Video is directed by Subastou Daksh Pandey and Nikhil Jiyani is the cinematographer. They both had recently contributed in the previously launched video ‘Chal Bulleya.’

Singer Ashok Gandharva talked to UT and said that he had gone to Pune few years back and while returning, he halted at the highway Dhaba. Late at night, he was served tea by a small kid that gave him the inspiration to create a song that will help curb the problem of child labor.

The song is written by Harsh Paliwal and Ashok Gandharva and is labeled with ‘A child is meant to learn, not to earn.’
