Udaipur was decorated today on the occasion of 472^nd Birth Anniversary of Maharana Pratap also known as Pratap Jayanti.

The social group Kshatriya Mahasabha had gathered at the Municipal Council ground and held a colorful mass procession, led by the symbols of royalty. The picturesque convoy passed through various parts of the city, depicting and remembering the sacrifice of Pratap and his faithful companions including the brave horse of Pratap – Chetak.

Various communities, organizations, political as well as non-political groups celebrated the day with grandeur, expressing their devotion toward the great warrior. Every place where Maharana Pratap’s monument has been installed was decorated exquisitely. Several top political figures were also present for the celebration.
