The ritual of Chhadi procession during the month of Muharram will be carried out tomorrow on 12^th Nov to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Husain, Grand Son of Prophet Muhammad and the younger son of Hazarat Ali.

President of Faiz Husain committee Shahnawaz Husain informed that, the Chhadi Procession will start from Jama Masjid situated at Chamanpura and will pass through the areas of Alipura, Dholi Bawdi, Kali Bawdi, Surajpol, Kheradi wada, Anjuman, Mochi wada, Nav Ghat, Pandu Wadi, Naga Nagri, Kallesaat, Silawat wadi, Hathipol and it will end at the Masjid at Chetak circle.

Shah Nanwaz said that during the procession, stalls offering tabaruks like Kheer, Juices and cold drinks that will be served by devotees.

More than 13 Chhadis will be included from all the Muslim neighborhoods of the city. People will offers garlands and dry coconuts on these Chhadis as a part of ritual.
