The Chaddi Julus was peacefully carried out in the city, on Saturday as one of the rituals of Moharram. The procession started from Chamanpura and concluded at Chetak Circle after passing from various prominent Muslim colonies of the city.

The religious Julus of Chaddi is carried out by the people of the community as a symbol of brotherhood and peace among each other. It began in the morning at 9 am from Chetak Circle and carried on in areas including Alipura, Dholi Bawdi, Surajpole, Kheradiwada, Kunjarwadi, Bada Bazar and Nav Ghat etc. At 5 pm in the evening, it reached the Paltan Masjid at Chetak Circle.

In the other parts, the people of Dholi Bawdi are prepared for the 2-day Shahid-e-Azam conference that will be held at Hussaini Chowk. The conference will be hosted by Alhaz Moinuddin Ashrafi of Jodhpur and the Imam of Dholi Bawdi Mosque, Shakirul Kadri Faizi. Along with them, Maulana Shoaib, Maulana Sami Ullah and Mufti Razab Ali Kadri will address to the people lessons relating to Hazrat Imam Hussain.
