Olympic Day 2025: Udaipur to Honour Sports Heroes
MP Dr Mannalal Rawat to attend Olympic Day function in Udaipur organised by District Olympic Association

Udaipur, June 23, 2025 - On the occasion of International Olympic Day, June 23, Udaipur's international and national-level athletes will be honoured at a felicitation ceremony today at 3:30 pm at Hotel Kajri (RTDC), Shastri Circle. This is being organised under the aegis of the District Olympic Association, Udaipur.
Sharing this information, Vinod Sahu, president of the association, said all sports associations of Udaipur will also be honoured during the ceremony.
The Chief Guest of the event will be Udaipur MP Dr Mannalal Rawat, while the programme will be presided over by Pramod Samar, State Convenor of BJP’s Cooperative Cell. Guests of Honour will include Gajpal Singh Rathore, BJP District president, Dinesh Shrimali, Secretary of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, Fateh Singh Rathore, City District Congress president, Mahesh Paliwal, District Sports Officer, Ranjeet Singh Digpal, BJP Ambedkar Mandal president, social worker Surendra Singh Khanuja, Advocate Praveen Kothari and Lalit Singh Sisodia, BJP Yuva Morcha president.
According to Jalamchand Jain, Secretary of the association, suggestions will be sought from athletes and sports associations present regarding development of sports in the city.
