The two day National Level Conference on Direct & Indirect Taxes started today at the conference hall of the Madan Mohan Malviya Ayurvedic College Udaipur, under the banner of the All India Federation of Tax Practitioners of Rajasthan, Tax Association Of Udaipur, Tax Bar Association of Udaipur and Tax Bar Charitable Society.

Swatantra Kumar, Chief Justice of Supreme Court was present on the occasion as Chief Guest.

More than 500 law experts from all over the country were present in the event including many notable C.A.s and Tax Consultants.

The conference was inaugurated at 9:45 am by Chief Justice Swatantra Kumar and the first technical section started at 12 pm and second at 2:15 PM.

While addressing to media, Swatantra Kumar admitted the complication of the system and said that many changes are necessary to make Taxpaying easy.

Talking about the national conference, Chief Justice Kumar said, “We have got experts from all over the country on a single platform so that we can discuss what amendments are required to make the system easy for common man and tax payers can get the benefits of these ideas.”

Chief Justice Kumar also believe that there is a need of more courts so that the procedure of providing justice can be made faster, it was decided in a recent meeting to make more permanent courts and I think the Union Government has agreed to provide more than 15000 judges all over the country and many more steps are being taken, more over many Legal Aid Systems are also coming up to help the poor people so that everyone can afford to avail the justice.
