Famous poet and Padma Shri Award winner Ashok Chakradhar addressed the local media personnel of Udaipur today. Chakradhar was on his one day tour to Udaipur and nearby places.

In his short conversation with the media he shared experiences of his life relating to Udaipur. He said that he regularly visited the city for last 40 years since he came here years back for the shooting of a documentary film named as “Gura Hath Ja” based on the protest against the British Government.

Ashok Chakradhar said, “I worked in many different fields like in first half of my life when I was a teenager I had an ideology of a revolutionary who though that his actions can bring the change. Moving forward in my life I also taught in school as a teacher & tried to bring changes in the society.”

Senior members of Lakecity Press Clubs including President Manu Rao, Jaiprakash Mali etc welcomed Ashok Chakradhar with the traditional Mewari Paag and garlands.
