Police Department starts Self Defense Camp for Girls
Women Self Defense Camp was held today at Residency School’s auditorium. The state level camp was organized by police department to teach girls various techniques of self defense.
Women Self Defense Camp was held today at Residency School’s auditorium. The state level camp was organized by police department to teach girls various techniques of self defense.
Inspector General of Police, G.N Purohit informed that four female police constables are appointed who will take different sessions in this one week camp.
I.G said, ” Self defense techniques of Martial Arts, punching etc. will be taught to school girls. Initially we chose three schools from every city. In Udaipur, Residency school, Jagdish Chowk School and Higher Secondary School, Ambamata have been selected for the camp.”
Female constables Tulsi, Priyanka, Kanya and Ankita were trained in Police Academy, Jaipur for the camp and will head the camp.
The camp is started under the Women Empowerment Program initiated by Chief Minister and police department is directed to execute it all over the state.
