To mark the festival of Vijaydashami and the foundation day of Rashtriya Svayamsevak Sangh, a procession was carried out in the city today, in which 1491 RSS activists participated from 20 sectors.

The procession was welcomed at many places by both Hindu and Muslim social groups to exhibit communal harmony and peace. Procession leading by RSS Band passed through Surajpol, Asthal Mandir, Mukherjee Chowk, Ghanta Ghar, Hathipol, Ashwini Bazar, Bohrawadi, Maldas Sehri, Mandi, Delhi Gate and concluded at Town Hall.
