'Stars of Rajasthan,' a state level dancing and singing competition is going to be held in Udaipur that will cover the talents of 26 districts. The three leveled event will start from September 6th and will continue till September in quarter final, semi final and grand finale.

‘Stars of Rajasthan,’ a state level dancing and singing competition is going to be held in Udaipur that will cover the talents of 26 districts. The three leveled event will start from September 6th and will continue till September in quarter final, semi final and grand finale.

“The Stars of Rajasthan is not merely a singing and dancing competition but it has a great cause behind it of providing treatment to the kidney patients at convenient cost and also to start a canteen for the patients coming to the city from the adjoining villages,” Chetan Prakash Jhangid, working member of the Foundation informed.

The initiative is jointly taken up by an NGO Santosh Life Saving Foundation and Jiyansh Publications of Udaipur that came together with an idea of raising funds for the effected people through an event and also to give a platform to the local talent.

Jhangid also informed that the auditions of the State level program will start from August 9th at the Ryan International School. Similarly the auditions will be conducted at Dungarpur, Banswada, Pratapgarh, Jhalawad, Chittorgarh, Bhilwada, Bundi, Jaipur, Tonk, Dosa, Kota, Bikaner, Nagore, Jhalor, Sikar, Churu, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Badmer and Jaisalmer in the following days.

Vikas Jain, senior member of the foundation while addressing the media said, “The event will be held in three sections based on the age groups; first groups will have participants of 5 to 9 years old, second section will have participants aging from 10 to 15 years and the third section will have participants aging between 16 to 25 years. In the state level dancing and singing will contain only solo performances in which contestants from 26 districts will display their talents in front of the judges comprising of local dance choreographers and music teachers.”

On the occasion, Girish Vaishnav of the Vinayak Events company informed that the winners in both the categories will be awarded with a prize of Rs. 11000, the runner ups will be given a sum of Rs. 5100 and RS. 2100 by the organizers.
