Christian community of Udaipur celebrated ‘White Gift Sunday’ at Shepherd Memorial Church, Chetak Circle today.

On WGS (White Gift Sunday) children were all dressed either as Angels, Shepherds, Mary and Joseph for the event. Kids dressed as Angels and Shepherds presented gifts to the ones dressed as Mary and Joseph. All the gifts were wrapped in White Paper.

Church Priest, Rev. Ramson Victor informed that, “WSG is celebrated every year, on the last Sunday before X-Mas”.

“Before the birth of Christ, an angel came down on Earth and a group of shepherds and angles went to offer gifts to the three prominent kings of that time. The same ritual has been followed by the community since ages”, he added.
