Cashless Services Resume Under RGHS Scheme in Pvt Hospitals

Udaipur, Sept 4, 2025 - The boycott of cashless services under the RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme), which began on August 25 in private hospitals across Rajasthan, has come to an end as of September 3. The decision was made by the Rajasthan Alliance of Hospitals Association (RAHA) following discussions with officials from the Department of Medical and Health, held on the instructions of Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar.

Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary of the department, said that as per discussions with hospital representatives, the process for clearing pending payments will be expedited. A review of RGHS rates will also be carried out, based on CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme) standards.

She further added that a joint committee has already been formed to review and implement necessary reforms related to the minimum documentation protocol, SOPs, empanelment rules and transparency measures under the scheme.

This committee will include representatives from private hospitals, and their suggestions will be taken into consideration. Based on the committee’s recommendations, policy-level changes will be made to improve the scheme.
