MP Rawat to CM: Expedite Approval for Temporary Health Staff in Udaipur
A proposal was approved to appoint doctors and female health works on a temporary basis against vacant posts in rural areas of Udaipur
UdaipurTimes, Sept 12, 2026 - Member of Parliament Dr Manna Lal Rawat has in a letter urged Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to expedite temporary appointment of medical staff in the Medical and Health Department in Udaipur district.
Dr Rawat said that several posts have been vacant for a long time in government hospitals in the rural and tribal areas of the district therefore inconveniencing locals.
His request comes on the back of a proposal approved during the 12th meeting of the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT) Governing Council of Udaipur district, to appoint doctors and female health works on a temporary basis against vacant posts in rural areas of Udaipur district.
The proposal is pending with the Finance Department in Jaipur.
