Udaipur, April 22, 2025 - RNT Medical College's affiliated Maharana Bhupal Hospital has extended the sample collection timings by one hour beyond the regular OPD hours. During the summer, patients can now give their samples until 3:00 pm, and during winter until 4:00 pm.

Superintendent Dr RL Suman said it has often been observed that patients arriving around 2:00 pm are seen by doctors, but by that time, the laboratory is closed, and they have to return the next day to give their samples. To address this issue, the new arrangement has been implemented. Under this system, if a patient is seen by a doctor during OPD hours and is advised to give a sample, they can now do so on the same day due to the extended laboratory hours.

If a patient still faces any difficulty in giving the sample in the OPD, they can also submit their sample at Room No. 29 in the Central Laboratory.

Dr Suman has ordered immediate implementation of this directive saying it will ensure patients’ tests are conducted the same day.

Patients can receive their test reports at home by scanning a QR code.
