Rajasthan Healthcare: PM-ABHIM Extended Until March 31, 2027
Extension of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission will enable continued implementation of health-related activities
UdaipurTimes, Sept 30, 2026 - The Central Government has extended the duration of the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) until March 31, 2027, under which efforts are being undertaken to provide better healthcare facilities to the people of Rajasthan and strengthen the State’s health infrastructure. The extension will enable the continued implementation of approved health-related activities under the scheme.
As per this decision, ongoing approved works and activities related to healthcare facilities under the scheme will continue. These activities will be carried out in accordance with the prescribed guidelines, approved standards and available budget.
Rajasthan’s Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar said that the continuation of PM-ABHIM would provide sustained support to efforts aimed at strengthening healthcare facilities and health infrastructure in the State. He said the State Government is continuously working to provide better, accessible and quality healthcare services to the public.
Principal Secretary, Medical and Health, Gayatri Rathore said the extension of the scheme would provide continued momentum to approved activities being implemented in the health sector. She added that efforts to further improve healthcare facilities in the state would continue through coordination between the Central and State governments.
