RGHS: Pvt Hospitals Halt Cashless Services Over Pending Dues
Udaipur, Aug 21, 2025 - Private hospitals across Rajasthan have started boycotting cashless treatment under the RGHS (Rajasthan Government Health Scheme) from Wednesday, August 20. The reasons given are delays in payments and pending dues amounting to crores of rupees. As a result, patients were denied treatment under the RGHS scheme.
Meanwhile, the Department of Medical and Health has announced some changes in the operation and monitoring of the RGHS scheme. Now, at the district level, the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) will be responsible for the implementation, operation and monitoring of the scheme in their respective districts.
The district nodal officer appointed for the Mukhya Mantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana will now also serve as the district nodal officer for the RGHS scheme.
