Udaipur, Dec 25, 2025: In February 2020, before the COVID pandemic rocked the world, the stakeholders at Narayan Seva Sansthan laid the foundation for a facility with a vision to become a landmark in healthcare and service to the diasabled. The World of Humanity witnessed the first stone being laid.
Today the facility, after nearly 5 years of consistent and dedicated work - even during the lockdown period, stands tall on the horizon for Udaipur and for the differently abled. The 11-storey hospital complex, spread across 2.4 lakh square feet, is a unique blend of scale, modern technology, and sensitivity. The fully air-conditioned facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical infrastructure and designed to meet global healthcare standards.
Facilities and Infrastructure: Modern Care with a Human Touch
- 450-bed hospital,
- 2 modern operation theatres for advanced orthopaedic, polio, clubfoot, and other corrective surgeries
- advanced physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre
- on-site production unit for artificial limbs and orthotic devices, ensuring high-quality aids are manufactured and fitted at the same location.
Beyond medical care, the hospital provides self-employment and skill training centres in areas such as mobile repairing, computer training, fashion designing, tailoring, and mechanical skills. A residential school for children with special needs integrates education, nutrition, medical care, and psychological support in one ecosystem.
All services — including surgeries, artificial limbs, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, accommodation, meals, and vocational training — are provided completely free of cost, staying true to Narayan Seva Sansthan’s core philosophy.
The campus also features green and sustainable infrastructure, solar power systems, RO-purified water, NABH-accredited healthcare facilities, modular operation theatres, laser-based diagnostics, 3D printing technology, CAD-CAM systems, advanced water treatment plants, and specially designed therapy zones.
Vision and Future Goals: Restoring Ability, Dignity, and Hope
Sharing the vision behind the project, Sansthan President Prashant Agarwal said that the World of Humanity is not just a medical centre but a gateway to new opportunities. He emphasized that every person leaving the campus should carry the confidence that they are capable, independent, and ready to rebuild their lives. The institution’s goal, he said, is to ensure that persons with disabilities become contributors to society, not dependents.
Through this centre, thousands of beneficiaries will receive free treatment, rehabilitation, assistive devices, and skill training, enabling them to regain mobility, financial independence, and self-respect. The facility is poised to become the largest dedicated service complex for persons with disabilities not only in Rajasthan, but across the country.
Founder Kailash Manav highlighted that the institution’s journey, which began in 1985 with public support, has now expanded across India and abroad. He stressed that community participation remains essential to ensure that the light of humanitarian service reaches every needy individual.
Looking ahead, Narayan Seva Sansthan has announced an ambitious 25-year expansion roadmap, aiming to serve over two crore beneficiaries through surgeries, artificial limb distribution, rehabilitation, education, skill training, food relief, and the establishment of hundreds of new service centres and workshops across India — reaffirming its long-term commitment to inclusive development and human dignity.
