Bar association of Udaipur, the professional body of the lawyers gave memorandum to District Collector, in order to express their concern over the recent tragic incident of Delhi gang-rape.

The female representatives of the organization condemned the tragedy and demanded strict and quick action against the accused and insisted to reform security policies to safeguard women in India.

Gajendra Singh Solanki, Vice President of Bar association; Vipul Joshi, Secretary; Sandeep Singh Rao, Finance Secretary; Sangeeta Nagda, Vandana Udawat, and many other members of the association were present at the collector’s office.

Through the medium of the memorandum, lawyers also expressed their concern over the victim and her family.

If the women are not safe even in the capital of the country, then there is a big question on the security for the women living in the rural areas of India.

Bar association demanded to provide financial aid to the victim’s family and best medication facilities to the girl who is undergoing treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.

Bar members said that the culprits should be hanged to death, so as to set an example for others.
