The District collector and Superintendent of Police of Rajsamand District reached Jaipur on Friday after they were invoked by the Chief Secretary C.S Rajan. Rajan has taken a complete report about the brutal incidence of woman being tortured by the villagers of Dhurawad Panchayat.

Along with presenting the report of the incidence to Chief Secretary the information about the suspension of 8 people including a Sarpanch and 2 ward panch was also provided by Collector.

While discussing the matter with S.C collector K.C Verma added that the situation at the village is now under control and victim woman has been given a compensation along with protection.

On the other hand while presenting her report of the case in front of D.G Omendra Bhardwaj, Superintendent of Police Rajsamand Shweta Dankad informed him that till now 42 accused were arrested under the charge of torturing the victim woman and all were send under Judical Custody.

Obeying the orders of the head quarter the CEO of Zila Parishad has suspended the Sarpanch Bhagwati Devi , Up Sarpanch Chagan Lal and Ward Panch Kesi Bai and other public representatives of the Panchayat.

Proir to this the Patwari Namu Narayan Meena, principal of the government school of Thali Ka Talab area, Pemaram and ANM Vidhya Devi have been suspended by the district administration in relation to the incidence.
