A pile of clinical waste was found dumped outside a house in the residential colony of Madhuban today morning. The house owner complained to local civic authority but no strong action has been taken yet.

A pile of clinical waste was found dumped outside a house in the residential colony of Madhuban today morning. The house owner complained to local civic authority but no strong action has been taken yet.

The waste that includes a number of used syringes, empty boxes of medicines and doctor’s prescription was found dumped outside the house of Piyush Sukhwal.

Piyush Sukhwal informed local area corporator Sanjay Pagaria who expressed his concern but the waste is yet to be removed.

According to the regulation, separate tenders are released to dump or sterilize such waste which carries potential threat of spreading infections and diseases.

Madhuban, a posh area located in heart of the city has many diagnostic centers around. No center has taken the responsibility of today’s incident.
