Home Guard alleges being Beaten by Resident Doctors

Adding to the number of incidents of Resident Doctors getting into clashes with civilians and individuals external to the hospital, the Shift Incharge of Home Guards and Head Constable has lodged a complaint of being beaten by a group of resident doctors at M.B. Hospital.

Adding to the number of incidents of Resident Doctors getting into clashes with civilians and individuals external to the hospital, the Shift Incharge of Home Guards and Head Constable has lodged a complaint of being beaten by a group of resident doctors at M.B. Hospital.

As per the details of the complaint lodged at Hathipol Police Station by Ravi Shanker Salvi, Head Constable and Shift Incharge at M.B. Hospital, the incident happened due an argument on parking at the institute premises.

As per Ravi, the residents got into an argument with Gopal, a Home Guard. Ravi, who came there to take care of the matter, got into an argument with a Resident and was abused by the Resident. The doctor then went away from the scene on his bike.

After a while, when Ravi was going to meet Dr. D.P. Singh, SP, M.B. Hospital, he was apprehended by a group of 20-25 Residents. Ravi was beaten by the group after which they fled away from the scene. In the scuffle, Ravi sustained injuries on his face and body.

Hathipol C.I. Nand Ram Bhadhu noted the complaint from the victim Ravi Shankar.

Ravi Shankar further informed he had a doubt on the resident doctor, Dharmesh Singh who sits at Ward no.13 of M.B Hospital.

Dr. D.P Singh, SP, M.B. Hospital informed that he will talk about the incident with Dr. S.K. Kaushik, Principal R.N.T Medical College as the resident doctors report to him.
