Annoyed over the irregularities of their services by the government, hundreds of home guards of Udaipur on Wednesday seek permission from the PM, President and Chief Minister to commit suicide.
J.S Rathore, the president of Home Guard Association informed that following their demands to regularize their services, hundreds of home guards on Wednesday gathered and wrote letters with their blood to the country’s PM, President and Chief Minister of Rajasthan.
Besides writing letters with blood, the home guard jawans also said that if the government isn’t considerable towards their demands then it should give permission to them to commit suicide, informed Rathore.
It is to consider that the home guards are only deployed at the time of emergency situations, law and order, elections or at the time of natural calamities but not as permanent employees. Moreover the Human Rights Commission by taking decision in their favor has ordered to appoint the Home Guards as permanent employees and to make their salary equivalent to that of police department.
