All major labour unions of the city presented a memorandum to district collector in the name of Prime Minister of India and expressed their concern over uncontrollable inflation, corruption, unemployment and policies against labourers.

The protestors handed over a 10 points demand letter and alleged that the current government has devastated the economy of country by entertaining international brands, favoring corporate houses and making weak policies for local labours.
The group of representatives led by P.S Khinchi, coordinator and Mohanlal Siyal assistant coordinator said that a report presents India where the number of billionaires are increasing but to contradict this, another report says that 77% Indians are living on Rs.20 per day.
Labour union also said that in last 22 years, 3 Lac farmers committed suicide and it is because of weak economical policies which have created unemployment in the country.
